The well known film club activist and teacher will join Santiago “Bou” Grasso and Oscar Desplats as member of the Argentine Jury this year at IV Córdoba International Animation Festival.

Juan José Gorasurreta Short Bio

Studied at the Documentary School of Santa Fe. Was granted in 1983 a scholarship from the Cordoba Goethe Institute to work with the german filmmaker Werner Schroeter. Professor of several workshops at La Quimera Film Club, Cordoba. Worked as a teacher in Schlesischer Str, cultural center funded by the European Community and the German government. Participated in the Latin American Congress of Film Clubs, held in Curitiba, Brazil.

If you grew up in Chile or Argentina during the 90’s, you probably remember “Tata Colores”, the animated series with which the chilean network TVN used to send kids to bed. Well, now the author of that and many other animations and publications will join Rene Castillo as member of the International Jury at ANIMA 2011.

Creator of animated series for childrens such as “Tata Colores” and “Ene Tene Tu” and animated short films such as “Nostalgias de Dresden” and “Como alitas de chincol”. Teacher of Animation Workshops in France, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and of the Audiovisual comunication career at DUOC Institute in Santiago.
