Nacido en la provincia de Buenos Aires, Dematei es Doctor por la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia, y fue director del M\u00e1ster en Animaci\u00f3n de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona hasta el 2011. Cofundador junto a Laura Piaggio del estudio \u201cPiaggiodematei\u201d, Dematei ha participado en la creaci\u00f3n y direcci\u00f3n de series de TV combinando animaci\u00f3n e interacci\u00f3n en entornos transmedias que le han valido numerosas distinciones en el Festival International de Cine de Animaci\u00f3n de Annecy, entre otros. Actualmente se desempe\u00f1a como profesor-investigador de la Licenciatura de Medios Audiovisuales de la Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego.

Born in Buenos Aires, after obtaining his Ph. D. from the University of Valencia, Dematei has been a director of the Master program in Animation at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona until 2011. Alongside with Laura Piaggio, Dematei is the co-founder of the animation studio \u201cPiaggiodematei\u201d, which enabled the creation of multiple transmedial series that received several awards, the Annecy International Film Animation Festival being one of them. He currently researches and teaches undergraduate cinema students at the National University of Tierra del Fuego.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Originally from Chile, Escala is a medial communicator, producer, member of the Chilean Animation Association and a founder party of \u201cPunkrobot\u201d, an animation studio created in 2010. He has produced the animated series for kids such as \u201cFlipos\u201d, \u201cLas aventuras de Muel\u00edn y Perlita\u201d, \u201cLa leyenda de Zeta y Ozz\u201d and the shortfilms \u201cI am a little red\u201d and \u201cHistoria de un Oso\u201d; being the latter the winner at more than 60 internationals film festivals and acclaimed by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences itself. He is now part of the faculty at the Digital Animation course.<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Diego Akel ha estado trabajando desde 2002 con bellas artes, fotograf\u00eda y animaci\u00f3n como productor creativo, director, animador, curador e instructor de talleres. Sus cortometrajes se han proyectado en m\u00e1s de 200 festivales y lugares en todo Brasil y en todo el mundo. El trabajo de Akel, en el campo de la animaci\u00f3n experimental. es reconocido internacionalmente como una referencia en el \u00e1rea, con talleres impartidos en varios estados de Brasil y Europa, y sus pel\u00edculas citadas en sitios como Colossal, Cartoon Brew, Hypeness y publicaciones brasile\u00f1as especializadas como el Revista Filme Cultura. Hoy en d\u00eda est\u00e1 desarrollando el t\u00e9rmino Animaci\u00f3n Libre, y est\u00e1 investigando la animaci\u00f3n como una forma espont\u00e1nea de creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica utilizando dispositivos m\u00f3viles, combinando tecnolog\u00edas de vanguardia con enfoques artesanales.

Diego Akel has been working since 2002 with fine arts, photography and animation as creative producer, director, animator, curator and workshop instructor. His short films have been screened at over 200 festivals and venues throughout Brazil and around the world. Akel’s work in the field of experimental animation is internationally recognized as a reference in the area, with workshops given in several states of Brazil and Europe, having his films cited in sites such as Colossal, Cartoon Brew, Hypeness and specialized Brazilian publications such as the Filme Cultura magazine.Today he is developing the term Free Animation, and is researching animation as a spontaneous form of artistic creation using mobile devices, blending cutting-edge technologies with artisanal approaches.<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Originalmente de Moreno, Gorasurreta crece en San Gregorio, un pueblo al sur de la provincia de Santa Fe. Desde 1971, integra el cineclub de la ciudad, donde participa en diversas producciones audiovisuales colectivas. A mediados de los \u201880 se traslada a C\u00f3rdoba, donde fundar\u00eda el cineclub \u201cLa Quimera\u201d. En 1996, es becado para participar en seminarios y talleres de cine en Berl\u00edn y Hamburgo. Luego trabajar\u00eda como docente en la Escuela de Cine de la Facultad de Artes durante dos a\u00f1os hasta publicar en el 2009 su primer libro \u201cLa quimera del cine\u201d. M\u00e1s tarde, concursar\u00eda para la subdirecci\u00f3n de Cine y TV de la Agencia C\u00f3rdoba Cultura S.E., cargo que ejerce hasta su jubilaci\u00f3n en el 2014. Actualmente Gorasurreta trabaja en el gui\u00f3n de un largometraje, mientras escribe su segundo libro y prepara una puesta en escena de \u201cLa Voz Humana\u201d de Jean Cocteau.
 
Originally from Moreno, Gorasurreta grew up in San Gregorio, a town located south Santa Fe province. In 1971 he becomes a member of the local movie club where he makes his first approaches to film production. During the mid \u201880s, he moves to C\u00f3rdoba where he would found the movie club \u201cLa Quimera\u201d. In 1996, he is granted a scholarship to study cinema in Berlin and Hamburg. Back again in Argentina, he became a professor for the Film School at the National University of C\u00f3rdoba. After teaching for two years, Gorasurreta published in 2009 his first book titled \u201cLa quimera del cine\u201d. Later on, he would be selected to be the vice principal of the TV and Film division at the Cultural Agency Centre in C\u00f3rdoba, job he would maintain until his retirement in 2014. At the present time, he divides his time writing a movie script while working on his second book and preparing a staging of \u201cLa Voz Humana\u201d by Jean Cocteau.<\/em>

Born in Buenos Aires, Romero graduated in Plastic Arts at the National University of La Plata. She is currently the artistic director of \u201cTomaVirtual\u201d and was also the director of  the critically acclaimed animated film \u201cAnida y el circo flotante\u201d. She was a lecturer on art and animation conferences at the Asunci\u00f3n National University, Paraguay, has she has also been called to act as a judge in numerous animation film festivals. Nowadays she is working the previous stages of what it would be her fifth animated movie, \u201cEl gigante ego\u00edsta\u201d.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Oriundo de la ciudad de Rosario, Arteaga es licenciado en Comunicaci\u00f3n Social por la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Ha estudiado realizaci\u00f3n audiovisual y publicidad en la Escuela Provincial de Cine y TV de Rosario y ha compilado el libro \u201cHistorietas y Pel\u00edculas (cuadritos en movimiento)\u201d y publicado \u201cLa pantalla dibujada. Animaci\u00f3n desde Santa Fe\u201d e \u201cHistorietas a la deriva. Rosario y m\u00e1s all\u00e1\u201d. Actualmente es responsable de la c\u00e1tedra Historia del Cine y la Animaci\u00f3n, en la Escuela para Animadores de Rosario. Es periodista del diario Rosario\/12 y conduce el programa \u201cLinterna m\u00e1gica: cine, historietas & radio\u201d y los ciclos televisivos \u201cNoche de Cine\u201d y \u201cGrandes Directores\u201d. A su vez, es colaborador en la revista \u201cCineficci\u00f3n\u201d.

Originally from the city of Rosario, Arteaga has a BA in Social Communication given by the National University of Rosario. Nevertheless, he has studied media production and advertisement at the Rosario Cinema and TV State School. He has compiled the book \u201cHistorietas y Pel\u00edculas (cuadritos en movimiento)\u201d, and authored \u201cLa pantalla dibujada. Animaci\u00f3n desde Santa Fe\u201d and \u201cHistorias a la deriva. Rosario y m\u00e1s all\u00e1\u201d. Nowadays he teaches to the Rosario School for Animators\u2019 students and is a journalist for the paper Rosario\/12. Last but not least, this Rosario native occasionally collaborates for the specialized film buff magazine \u201cCineficci\u00f3n\u201d and is a host to the radio program \u201cLinterna m\u00e1gica: Cine, historietas y radio\u201d and the TV shows \u201cNoches de Cine\u201d and \u201cGrandes Directores\u201d.<\/em>

Nacido en la provincia de Mendoza, Mansilla es realizador audiovisual por la Escuela Regional Cuyo de Cine y Video, que se ha especializado como matchmover y en efectos especiales para cine. Ha trabajado como animador, director y productor generalista en 3D para varias series del Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales sin dejar de realizar proyecciones y mapping tridimensional. Tambi\u00e9n ha sido titular de la c\u00e1tedra de Iniciaci\u00f3n al 3D de la Universidad Champagnat.

 Born in Mendoza province, Mansilla graduated from the Cuyo Regional TV and Cinema School and has dedicated to being a masterful matchmover and in accomplishing astonishing 3D special effects for the big screen. He has worked as an animator, director and producer emphasizing and animating three dimensionally. He has also done several multidimensional projections and architectonic mapping, on top of being a professor at Universidad Champagnat in the Initiation to 3D class.<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Nacida en la provincia de Buenos Aires, Nanni es una artista pl\u00e1stica y dibujante autodidacta, que a los 19 a\u00f1os formar\u00eda parte del equipo de la serie animada \u201cEl mundo de Mafalda\u201d. Durante una d\u00e9cada continuar\u00eda trabajando para series de animaci\u00f3n estadounidenses y europeas. Actualmente se dedica a la realizaci\u00f3n de cortos animados y al dictado de clases de animaci\u00f3n 2D tradicional y de perfeccionamiento en su taller particular. Es considerada una de las primeras mujeres animadoras de Argentina.

Born in Buenos Aires province, Nanni is an artist and a self-taught painter, whom at the young age of 19 was part of the team that would put together the animated series \u201cEl Mundo de Mafalda\u201d. For ten years she would continue to animate north American and European TV initiatives. At the moment she finds herself doing animated shortfilms and teaching the basics of 2D animation for beginners and for the more advanced students, she dwells into the techniques for the improvement of the craft. She is considered one of the first argentine women animator.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Oriundo de la provincia de Misiones, Bergara migr\u00f3 a Buenos Aires para estudiar odontolog\u00eda, pero terminar\u00eda fundando junto a otros compa\u00f1eros el \u201cCan Can Club\u201d, estudio de animaci\u00f3n en stop-motion que dar\u00eda comienzo a una mir\u00edada de proyectos animados como \u201cTecl\u00f3polis\u201d, \u201cInercia\u201d y \u201cOnion\u201d y tambi\u00e9n a la serie animada de J. P. Zaramella \u201cEl hombre m\u00e1s chiquito del mundo\u201d. Actualmente este director de cine de animaci\u00f3n e ilustrador se encuentra co-produciendo la serie animada \u201c2 Pajaritos\u201d junto con el estudio uruguayo \u201cPalermo\u201d.
 
All the way down south, from the province of Misiones, Bergara finally settled in Buenos Aires to study to become a dentist, but he would end up founding, together with other partners, the \u00abCan Can Club\u00bb, an animation studio that would birth a myriad of animated short films like \u00abTecl\u00f3polis\u00bb, \u00abInercia\u00bb and \u00abOnion\u00bb, and also the series of J. P.  Zaramella \u00abEl hombre m\u00e1s chiquito del mundo\u00bb. Today, this animation director and illustrator is producing the animated series \u00ab2 Little Birds\u00bb, in collaboration with the Uruguayan animation studio \u00abPalermo\u00bb.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Public\u00f3 las revistas ilustradas \u201cTodo por Uan D\u00f3lar\u201d y \u201cTodo por Ch\u00fa Pesous\u201d, y forma parte de la editorial independiente \u201cBuen Gusto Ediciones\u201d. Hoy desarrolla su tarea docente en la Universidad Blas Pascal de C\u00f3rdoba.
 
Born in C\u00f3rdoba province, Eschoyez is a self-taught animator, motiongrapher, illustrator and graphic designer. He has been a speaker at several conferences and workshops and some of his work has been recognized by the Blender Foundation in Amsterdam. He authored the illustrated magazines \u201cTodo por Uan D\u00f3lar\u201d y \u201cTodo por Ch\u00fa Pesous\u201d, as he is a member of the publishing house called \u201cBuen Gusto Ediciones\u201d. Nowadays he teaches his craft at the Blas Pascal University in C\u00f3rdoba city.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Fue directora fundadora del canal pionero \u201cPakapaka\u201d, y profesora titular de la c\u00e1tedra de Producci\u00f3n y Realizaci\u00f3n de Televisi\u00f3n Infantil en Argentina de la UBA. Desde 2012 dirige \u201cLatinlab\u201d: organizaci\u00f3n especializada en la creaci\u00f3n, an\u00e1lisis e investigaci\u00f3n de contenidos infantiles audiovisuales de calidad.

Born in Buenos Aires, Salviolo obtained her BA in Communication Sciences from Buenos Aires University, and went onto taking postgraduate courses regarding Human and Children\u2019s Rights. She has worked as a consultant, manager, researcher and trainer in communication and childhood issues at different Latin-American organizations, such as UNICEF Argentina, TV Per\u00fa, Redlamyc, just to name a few. She founded and also presided the pioneer kids TV channel \u201cPakapaka\u201d and she was a professor at UBA specifically at the TV Production for Children class. Since 2012 she runs \u201cLatinlab\u201d: an organization dedicated to the production, analysis and research for quality media content destined to children<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lula was born in Buenos Aires but she’s lived in Barcelona most of her adult life. She is a filmmaker and an animator specialized in stop-motion who has worked for several production companies national and international as well. Alongside with Jordi Piulachs, they founded \u00abLa Academia de Animaci\u00f3n\u00bb, a school for all things animation, which many of the projects done there have collected awards and gain recongnition around the world. Inspired by her feminist side, G\u00f3mez has succesfully joined her profession with her politic visions in the animated series \u00abEres una caca\u00bb<\/em>
