La Orden de El\u00f1a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A diferencia de lo que ocurr\u00eda veinte a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s en la primera edici\u00f3n de nuestro festival, hoy encontramos una gran y diversa comunidad argentina que trabaja por el desarrollo y fortalecimiento de la animaci\u00f3n en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Es en ese sentido que proponemos a La Orden de El\u00f1a<\/strong> como una muestra (siempre incompleta) de ese gran grupo humano que respira animaci\u00f3n en Argentina. La Orden incorpora a personas con distintas miradas, experiencias y trayectorias sobre la animaci\u00f3n. Estamos convencidos que la diversidad es una fuerte caracter\u00edstica de la animaci\u00f3n de nuestro pa\u00eds, y es parte de nuestra impronta como naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nos parece fundamental reflejar esta situaci\u00f3n en el Premio a la Mejor Animaci\u00f3n Argentina<\/strong>, que a partir de esta edici\u00f3n ser\u00e1 otorgado por los miembros de La Orden de El\u00f1a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a> \u00bfQu\u00e9 es la Orden de El\u00f1a?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es un colectivo de personas vinculadas al desarrollo de la animaci\u00f3n en Argentina. Sus integrantes se desempe\u00f1an en actividades que generan, fomentan, y alientan el desarrollo de la animaci\u00f3n en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a> \u00bfQui\u00e9nes pueden integrar la Orden de El\u00f1a?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La membres\u00eda a la Orden de El\u00f1a no se puede comprar, sino que es \u00fanicamente por invitaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo surge la Orden de El\u00f1a?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con motivo de las celebraciones de los 20 a\u00f1os de ANIMA, Festival Internacional de Animaci\u00f3n de C\u00f3rdoba, en 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfQui\u00e9n es El\u00f1a?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El\u00f1a es El \u00d1and\u00fa<\/em>, la mascota de ANIMA, Festival Internacional de Animaci\u00f3n de C\u00f3rdoba. Acompa\u00f1a a la identidad del festival desde su cuarta edici\u00f3n (2007).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 ANIMA tiene un \u00f1and\u00fa como mascota?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En las primeras ediciones del festival pensamos mucho en qu\u00e9 nos generaba realizar este festival para toda la comunidad de la animaci\u00f3n mundial. Nos sent\u00edamos un poco bicho raro, descolocados ante festivales mundiales de mucha trayectoria (y presupuestos muy distintos), pero sin embargo con muchas ganas de aportar nuestra voz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entonces surgi\u00f3 la idea del \u00f1and\u00fa, que es parecido a un avestruz, pero tambi\u00e9n es diferente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El t\u00e9rmino \u00f1and\u00fa deriva de ara\u00f1a en guaran\u00ed. El avestruz, desafortunadamente, no sabe guaran\u00ed y tiene miedo a las ara\u00f1as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El \u00f1and\u00fa es m\u00e1s fierito que el avestruz, pero lo esencial es invisible a los ojos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El \u00f1and\u00fa es latinoamericano. En su nombre tiene una letra \u00f1 y una vocal con acento, ambas son grandes dificultades para los teclados configurados en otro idioma que no sea espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El \u00f1and\u00fa est\u00e1 en contra de la alfombra roja. Prefiere las cosas simples y directas. El avestruz es m\u00e1s farolero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con la ayuda de sus patas, el \u00f1and\u00fa puede contar hasta seis. El avestruz s\u00f3lo llega a 4, una clara desventaja matem\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanto el \u00f1and\u00fa como el avestruz saben divertirse, pero los \u00f1and\u00faes, al ser m\u00e1s desacartonados, se divierten m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El \u00f1and\u00fa es m\u00e1s joven, est\u00e1 abierto a cosas nuevas, tiene mucho entusiasmo y \u00a1le encanta hacer nuevos amigos!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Desde ese momento, El\u00f1a es la mascota de ANIMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En cada edici\u00f3n, hemos brindado libertad a cada artista que dise\u00f1aba el trailer del festival para apropiarse de El\u00f1a y modificar su morfolog\u00eda. El\u00f1a es una gran construcci\u00f3n colectiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Order of El\u00f1a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike what happened 20 years ago in the first edition of our festival, today we are a large and diverse community working for the development and strengthening of animation in Argentina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is in this context that we brought together La Orden de El\u00f1a<\/strong> (The Order of El\u00f1a), a sample (an always incomplete sample) of this great human group that breathes animation in Argentina. The Order is made up of people with different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds in and about animation. We are convinced that diversity is a strong feature of animation in our country, as well as an aspect of our imprint as a nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe it is essential to recognize this diversity in the Award for Best Argentine Animation<\/strong>; therefore, from this edition onwards, the award will be granted by the members of The Order of El\u00f1a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is The Order of El\u00f1a?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es un colectivo de personas vinculadas al desarrollo de la animaci\u00f3n en Argentina. Sus integrantes se desempe\u00f1an en actividades que generan, fomentan, y alientan el desarrollo de la animaci\u00f3n en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership to the Order of El\u00f1a cannot be purchased, it is by invitation only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did The Order of El\u00f1a arise?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It rises in 2021, to mark the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of ANIMA, International Animation Festival of Cordoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is El\u00f1a?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El\u00f1a is El \u00f1and\u00fa, <\/em>the mascot of the International Animation Festival of Cordoba, ANIMA. It has been part of the festival’s identity since its fourth edition in 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is a rhea the mascot of ANIMA?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Throughout the first editions of our festival, we gave much thought to the reasons that drove us to doing this festival for the animation community worldwide. We felt like a bit of an oddball, a bit out of place, especially compared to world festivals with much longer trajectories (and much different budgets); nevertheless, we also felt eager to bring our voice to the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then came the idea of the rhea, which is similar to an ostrich, but it is also different:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Spanish word for rhea, \u00f1and\u00fa, derives from the Guaran\u00ed term for spider. Unfortunately, ostriches know no Guaran\u00ed and are afraid of spiders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rhea is also less appealing that the ostrich, but, as we know, the essential is invisible to the eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rhea is from Latin America Its name has a letter \u00f1 and a vowel with a graphic accent mark, both of which are sort of an issue for keyboards configured in languages different from Spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rhea does not believe in red carpets. It likes things simple and to the point. The ostrich is more about the showbiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the help of its legs, the rhea can count to six. The ostrich can only count to 4, a clear mathematical disadvantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the rhea and the ostrich are good at having fun, but the rheas, being more relaxed, can have even more fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rhea is younger, open to new things, it’s very enthusiastic and it loves making new friends!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

El\u00f1a has been the mascot of ANIMA ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In each edition, every artist designing the festival’s trailer has been given the freedom to appropriate El\u00f1a and modify its morphology. El\u00f1a is a great collective creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
