\u00bfQu\u00e9 es ANIMA?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

ANIMA \u2013 Festival Internacional de Animaci\u00f3n de C\u00f3rdoba<\/strong> es un evento de car\u00e1cter acad\u00e9mico y cultural, de alcance internacional, dedicado espec\u00edficamente al arte y la t\u00e9cnica de la animaci\u00f3n. Se origin\u00f3 en 2001 como evento bienal, y a partir de su XI edici\u00f3n (2021) se transforma en un evento anual. Es uno de los principales eventos sobre animaci\u00f3n realizado en la Rep\u00fablica Argentina; y uno de los festivales animados m\u00e1s relevantes y valorados de Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n

ANIMA<\/strong> no es un evento com\u00fan. El principal objetivo es reunir a individuos creativos dedicados al arte y al oficio de la animaci\u00f3n en un punto de encuentro, donde todo el debate e intercambio pueda dirigirse hacia el campo de la animaci\u00f3n en cualquiera de sus muchas dimensiones de an\u00e1lisis: como expresi\u00f3n art\u00edstica, como industria cultural, como material did\u00e1ctico, como objeto de investigaci\u00f3n, etc… \u00a1O s\u00f3lo como algo divertido!<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

ANIMA<\/strong> es coorganizado por el Centro Experimental de Animaci\u00f3n (CEAn) del Departamento de Cine y TV, Facultad de Artes, Universidad Nacional de C\u00f3rdoba; la Secretar\u00eda de Extensi\u00f3n Universitaria (SEU) de la Universidad Nacional de C\u00f3rdoba; el Espacio Curricular Animaci\u00f3n de la Licenciatura en Dise\u00f1o, IAPCH, Universidad Nacional de Villa Mar\u00eda; y la Secretar\u00eda de Cultura de la Municipalidad de C\u00f3rdoba.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

What is ANIMA?<\/em><\/span><\/td>\n\n

ANIMA – C\u00f3rdoba International Animation Festival<\/strong> is both an academic and cultural event, devoted specifically to animation in its artistic and technological dimensions. It originated in 2001 as a biennial event, and from its XI edition (2021) it became  an annual event.  ANIMA is one of the main animation events held in the Argentine Republic; and one of the most relevant and valued animation festivals in Latin America.<\/p>\n

ANIMA<\/strong> is no ordinary event. Its main objective is to gather creative individuals devoted to the art and craft of animation into a meeting point where all discussion and exchange can be directed into the scope of animation, in its many dimensions of analysis: as artistic expression, as cultural industry, as educational resource, as corpus for research, etc… Or just as fun!<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Who organizes ANIMA?<\/em> <\/span><\/td>\n\n

ANIMA<\/strong> is jointly organized by the Centro Experimental de Animaci\u00f3n (CEAn) of the Film and TV Dept, Faculty of Arts, Universidad Nacional de C\u00f3rdoba (Argentina); the Secretar\u00eda de Extensi\u00f3n Universitaria of the Universidad Nacional de C\u00f3rdoba; the Animation Chair of the Lic. in Audiovisual Design, IAPCH, Universidad Nacional de Villa Mar\u00eda; and the Secretary of Culture of the City of C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

ANIMA is composed by three superimposed dimensions:<\/p>\n

    It\u2019s an ANIMATION FESTIVAL: Over 3000 films were submitted for the last edition (2022), of which about a hundred were selected. Among guests and jurors from former editions you will find many relevant personalities from the animation world, among them: Chris Hinton (Canada); Juan Pablo Zaramella (Argentina); Marcy Page (Canada); Santiago ‘Bou’ Grasso (Argentina); Michaela Pavl\u00e1tova (Czech Republic); Javier Mrad (Argentina); Martine Chartrand (Canada); Barry Purves (United Kingdom); Pablo Rodr\u00edguez Ja\u00faregui (Argentina); Walter Tournier (Uruguay); Esteban Tolj (Argentina); Tom\u00e1s Welss (Chile); Diego Rolle (Argentina); Otto Guerra (Brazil); Vivienne Barry (Chile); Ren\u00e9 Castillo (Mexico); Hugo Covarrubias (Chile) and many more.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    It\u2019s an OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN FROM THE BEST: ANIMA aims to bring in depth and high – end educational opportunities to its audience. Seminars, workshops and short courses are organized, centered on a variety of topics dedicated to specific animation aesthetics and technology, and are conducted by prestigious professionals in the area, such as the forementioned guests, Rodolfo S\u00e1enz Valiente (Argentina); Steven Woloshen (Canada); Andr\u00e9s Lieban (Brazil); Giannalberto Bendazzi (Italy).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    It\u2019s a CONFERENCE: ANIMA\u2019s International Academic Forum<\/a> is the only specific Conference on Animation held in Latin America. It holds an open call for papers, video presentations and posters on animation, that undergo double peer – reviewing by an Academic Committee for selection and publication.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
