El cineasta de animaci\u00f3n Ainslie Henderson ha estado explorando la utilidad de los aparatos electr\u00f3nicos rotos como material para hacer marionetas de animaci\u00f3n stop-motion. Tomando viejas c\u00e1maras y tel\u00e9fonos y reencarn\u00e1ndolos en el esp\u00edritu de las experiencias que tuvieron con las personas que los poseyeron, cada pieza de desecho electr\u00f3nico se convierte en un \u00abrobot reciclado\u00bb individual. En este taller se invitar\u00e1 a los participantes a traer un viejo aparato electr\u00f3nico (tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil, c\u00e1mara, televisor, ordenador, etc.) que se destruir\u00e1 y convertir\u00e1 en su propia marioneta animable para stop-motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ainslie Henderson<\/strong><\/a> es guionista, director y animador, y en 2012 fue galardonado con un BAFTA por coescribir \u00abThe Making of Longbird\u00bb. Sus cortometrajes \u00abI Am Tom Moody\u00bb y \u00abMonkey Love Experiments\u00bb fueron nominados al BAFTA y han ganado m\u00e1s de 60 premios en festivales internacionales. Su v\u00eddeo musical para el grupo \u00abJames\u00bb ha superado los dos millones de reproducciones en Vimeo y fue galardonado con el premio al mejor v\u00eddeo musical animado del Reino Unido. Su pel\u00edcula \u00abStems\u00bb recibi\u00f3 el premio McLaren del Festival Internacional de Cine de Edimburgo. En 2016, el largometraje que coescribi\u00f3 y dirigi\u00f3, \u00abA Cat Called Dom\u00bb, se proyect\u00f3 en cines de todo el Reino Unido y fue descrito como \u00abun ingenioso experimento de cineterapia\u00bb. El cortometraje m\u00e1s reciente de Ainslie, \u00abShackle\u00bb, gan\u00f3 el premio a la mejor pel\u00edcula brit\u00e1nica en el Festival Internacional de Animaci\u00f3n de Londres y sigue cosechando premios en festivales de todo el mundo. Ainslie es un apasionado de la animaci\u00f3n stop frame y actualmente trabaja como freelance entre Edimburgo y Newcastle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Animation filmmaker Ainslie Henderson has been exploring the utility of broken electronics as material for making stop-motion animation puppets. Taking old cameras and phones and reincarnating them in the spirit of the experiences they had with the people who owned them, each piece of electronic scrap becomes an individual \u201crecycled robot.\u201d Learn more about his project here.<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this workshop, participants will be invited to bring an old electronic device (cell phone, camera, television, computer, etc.) to be destroyed and turned into their own animatable stop-motion puppet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ainslie Henderson<\/strong><\/a> is a screenwriter, director and animator, and in 2012 was awarded a BAFTA for co-writing \u201cThe Making of Longbird\u201d. His short films \u201cI Am Tom Moody\u201d and \u201cMonkey Love Experiments\u201d were BAFTA nominated and have won over 60 awards at international festivals. His music video for the band \u201cJames\u201d has surpassed two million plays on Vimeo and was awarded Best Animated Music Video UK. His film \u201cStems\u201d received the McLaren Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. In 2016, the feature film he co-wrote and directed, \u201cA Cat Called Dom\u201d, was screened in cinemas across the UK and was described as \u201can ingenious experiment in cinetherapy\u201d. Ainslie’s most recent short film, \u201cShackle,\u201d won Best British Film at the London International Animation Festival and continues to garner awards at festivals around the world. Ainslie is passionate about stop frame animation and currently freelances between Edinburgh and Newcastle.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
